1Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to information we process about visitors to our website, individuals who create or manage a Paver account, Authorized Users of a customer’s subscription, and individuals who otherwise interact with us.

Our customers (paving contractors and other businesses) may upload information about their own employees, clients, projects, and prospects (“Customer Data”). When we process Customer Data on a customer’s behalf, we do so as a service provider under that customer’s instructions and their own privacy practices. If you are an employee or client of a Paver customer, please direct privacy requests to that customer.

2Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account and profile information — name, email address, phone number, password, and job role.
• Company information — business name, address, service area, industry details, and team member details.
• Billing information — subscription plan and billing contact. Card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor (see Section 7).
• Customer Data — estimates, proposals, project records, measurements, photos, documents, customer and lead contacts, pricing, and other content you enter or upload.
• Communications — messages, support requests, survey responses, and feedback you send to us.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data — features used, pages viewed, actions taken, and timestamps.
• Device and log data — IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and diagnostic/crash data.
• Location data — approximate location from IP address and, where enabled, precise location or telematics data (see Section 6).
• Cookies and similar technologies — as described in Section 10.

3How We Collect Information

• Directly from you when you sign up, configure your account, upload content, or contact us.
• Automatically through your use of the Services and through cookies and similar technologies.
• From third parties such as our payment processor, analytics providers, and integrations you choose to connect to your account.

4How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Services.
• Create and administer your account and process transactions.
• Generate estimates, proposals, reports, and other outputs you request.
• Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
• Send administrative messages, service updates, and security notices.
• Send product news and marketing communications (you may opt out at any time).
• Monitor, analyze, and improve the performance, features, and usability of the Services.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information.

5AI Features and Automated Processing

The Services may include AI-powered features that assist with estimating, scheduling, material calculations, bid preparation, documentation, report generation, and analytics. To provide these features, relevant inputs may be processed by our systems and, where applicable, trusted AI service providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

AI-generated content is probabilistic, may contain errors, and does not replace professional judgment. You are responsible for independently verifying AI outputs before relying on them. We do not use your Customer Data to train publicly available, general-purpose AI models without an appropriate legal basis or your instruction.

6Location, GPS, and Telematics Data

If enabled by a customer, the Services may collect and process location information relating to employees, company-owned vehicles, and equipment for purposes such as scheduling, dispatch, job tracking, and operational reporting.

Where you access mobile features, precise location or device permissions (such as camera or location services) may be requested. You can control these permissions through your device settings, though disabling them may limit certain features. Customers are responsible for providing appropriate notice to, and obtaining any required consent from, their employees regarding location tracking.

7Payment Information

Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. When you provide payment card details, they are transmitted directly to and stored by the processor in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy. Paver does not store full payment card numbers. We receive limited billing information such as the card brand, last four digits, expiration date, and transaction status to manage your subscription.

8How We Share Information

We share information only as described below:

• Service providers — vendors that host, process, or support the Services (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics, email delivery, and AI providers), under contracts that limit their use of the information.
• Within your organization — with account administrators and Authorized Users of the same customer subscription.
• Integrations you enable — with third-party products you choose to connect to your account.
• Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Paver, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
• With your consent — for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time.

9Third-Party Services and Integrations

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you use in connection with Paver.

10Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, and improve the Services. We may use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how the Services are used.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Services.

11Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it, or securely store it until deletion is possible. Customers may export or request deletion of Customer Data as described in their agreement with us.

12Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for the security practices described in your agreement with us.

13Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your personal information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Request a portable copy of your information.
• Opt out of marketing communications by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 18. We may need to verify your identity before responding. If your information was provided by a Paver customer, we may direct your request to that customer.

14California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) provides rights to know, delete, correct, and limit the use of certain personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details in Section 18.

15Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

16Data Storage and International Transfers

We store and process information in the United States and may transfer it to, or access it from, other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers of personal information.

17Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
